‘THE FORGOTTEN’

                                                A terrible tragedy
                                                The whole world mourns
                                                How could they do this to US!
                                                America scorns

Has anyone heard what’s happening in Rwanda?

                                                Calls for REVENGE!
                                                Are heard from American mouths
                                                So what if we kill some innocents
                                                They surely killed some of ours

Does anyone care what’s happening in Rwanda?

                                                Prayers around the world
                                                Pledging help and support
                                                How dare they blast America!
                                                The most powerful, they are taught

Has anyone ever heard of Rwanda?

                                                Life is so precious
                                                Whatever race, creed or colour
                                                There are atrocities the world over
                                                Is anyone listening to them?

Is there a place called Rwanda?

                                                There is a place called Rwanda
                                                Where the waters run red with blood
                                                Torture and massacres, are a way of life
                                                Limbs hacked off, in the mud

This is Rwanda

                                                So the massacres and killings go on
                                                Are these lives lost less precious?
                                                The world turns its’ back
                                                There are no world prayers for them

This is Rwanda

                                                So America may blast and bomb
                                                Killing many innocent , not knowing who
                                                They have the POWER and the MIGHT
                                                Does that make their lives more precious too?
